Small business “Barkar” was started in 2022. in Bakar.
Taxi Boat service started in July 2022. resulting in a few dozens of happy customers until the end of the summer season.
Our goal is to provide our guests with safe and fun marine transport, making sure they experience the beauty of Bakar bay and wider surrounding area from the unique perspective.
People
Goran
From the youngest age I’ve been in love with the sea, nature and adventure. From then I gained quite the experience handling boats of different size, use and speed. Along the way I also got my university diploma in marine traffic and sailed around the world working as an engine officer on cargo and passenger ships.
I speak fluent English and work on improving my poor Italian.
On every boat trip I feel like I’m discovering some new horizons and I love sharing that joy with my guests.
Marija
Even though I was born and raised in Zagreb, for the last few years I gained a lot of maritime skills and experience in boat handling.
I put all that to the test in an epic adventure of 2021. For ten fun days, with Goran and our small but reliable boat I sailed all around the Kvarner bay and Zadar archipelago, all the way to nature park Telašćica and national park “Kornati”.
I’m a philosophy and German language professor, fluent in German and English. I can also help struggling with Italian.
